It is imperative to have a contract of assistance or insurance to cover all medical costs (surgery, hospitalization, etc.) and medical repatriation.

2.

Consult your doctor or an international vaccination center if necessary to assess your state of health and benefit from health recommendations, particularly on vaccinations.

3.

Prepare your personal pharmacy accordingly and take only the necessary medication; never consume drugs bought in the street (risk of counterfeits).

4.

For vaccination , you must consult the information of your country of origin. It is not mandatory but in some cases recommended.

5.

Recommended vaccines : yellow fever (especially for long trips and trips outside urban centers, especially in the border area with the Senegal River), hepatitis A and B, typhoid fever, meningococcal meningitis, tetanus, diphtheria and rage.

6.

At the border post with Senegal, or if you want to go to other countries, the authorities may ask you for the international vaccination card - it is advisable to have it and keep it up to date.
